I’m Lakoshia Freeman, born and raised right here in Lake Charles, Louisiana!

I’m a proud Lake Charles Boston High alum, and a Lamar State College–Orange graduate. I’m married to a wonderful husband, and together we have one amazing daughter who keeps us on our toes & makes life exciting!

I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember- drawing, painting, coloring, you name it! One day while scrolling online, I noticed there weren’t many people in Lake Charles or Southwest Louisiana offering face painting. That’s when I decided to jump in, follow my passion, and get certified in face and body art.

I wanted to do it the right way, so I learned all about line work, blending, sanitization, and using the best quality paints. With the encouragement of my husband, cousins, and auntie, I took a leap of faith and started my own business — Unique Face Painting and Designs.

I’ve been creating unique designs and slaying faces since 2018!

Now I get to share my love for art by bringing color, creativity, and smiles to every event I’m a part of.
